Well I just got back from Home Depot having my old school Ford Key cut and programed it in the parking lot and it works perfect. It looks 1000 times better and is made out of harder plastic although it a little bigger its worth it, I hate when Valets look at me when they hand me a key that looks like the dog was chewing on it!!!!

Hi,
where did you get the old key and how did you program it? I understand that the new keys have a chip in them. Thanks!

Ya, that's a lot better, I don't know why Ford used those crappy soft plasic keys for the 2005. Does anyone know if the keys for the previous generation Mustang will work for the new one. I like them even better.

You do it with the two original keys present. It should be covered in the owners manual.

Hey, Dino. Can you post a pic of both keys together. I'd like to see how much bigger it is.

Also, how much was the 99-02 key?
