Alrgiht, my specific situation is:

I ordered my car back on June 15th. GT Premium with IUP.

I have a VIN but no build date.

So what are the chances I'll get my car oh, say, October or November at this point?

Specifically, October, because November here in Cleveland is crappy anyway and I won't be ale to drive it for more than two weeks I'm sure.

I'd say your chances are very good. If you have a vin, then your build date should be forthcoming. I had a car scheduled last week and today it got a build date of 9/27. I will expect this car the end of October.

Even with no scheduled week yet?

I mean, as of last Sunday (My last contact with my dealer) I had none. He did say he'd contact me if any new info came in. He hasn't. So either nothing new has happened or it has and he just forgot to call.

I hate to call him every other day and ask, and i I haven't so far, but I may start.

All of the information that i have gathered from this site has been INCREDIBLE, and like the rest of us i am very anxious to for the mustangs to hit the dealerships. I ordered my v6 manual about a week or so ago, I'm aware of the delay of production for this combination, but still was hoping someone could give me a ballpark estimate of when i can expect delivery. My guess is around mid january , but i hope im wrong. If anyone could help me out here, that would be great.

thanks
ben

Ok, so what are the chances...
...of a guy like you... and a girl like me... endin' up together?

Not good...

Not good as in 1 out of 100?

I'd say more like 1 out of 1,000,000.

So, you're tellin' me there's a chance! Yeah! Whooo!

Sorry, I once had a Dumb and Dumber obsession.

HUSBAND? What was all that one in a million talk?!

The fact that you have a vin and no build week yet is a question that you should feel OK about getting an answer to. If your car was just pulled in last week's allocation, then that would make sense. As I said, I just today got the date on a car from last week. I think it is important to stay in contact with your dealer and get answers when you want them. Once you get the build week, figure about 3 to 4 weeks from that date to delivery.

sounds like my situation a few days ago. I ordered my stang may 25th-i think(the day after the order guide came out). Got my vin right away but i kept on being told that they didnt have a build date. I went to the dealership today and guess what..... my car is produced!! I went from being melancholy to super super super excited! (i ordered a GT fully loaded) who knows this could happen to you
