Hey guys, I heard from a very believable source that we are shipping Mustangs today!!! I said, We ARE shipping Mustangs today. of course that could change in a heartbeat, oops, hoofbeat, and i really did try and confirm with higher ups to no avail, but this source is on the launch team and worked all weekend to make sure that we could ship our very first allotment on time, today. TODAY!!! YAAAHOOOO!!! No idea how many or where to but i do know one thing, There's gonna be some very happy Mustnag owners really soon. and probably a few with new speeding tickets, too!!!

This is too exciting. Eventhough mine is probably not on the first shipment, I am sure I will go and test drive one.

Ok, here is a map of driving times from Chicago for a delivery truck...pretty good estimate at how long it will take a truck or train to get from Dearborn to wherever...

Red is one day, blue two days, orange three, green four days, and purple is five
Hmmm, why does it take longer to drive from Chicago to eastern Utah then it does to southern California. Actually you can drive to Puerto Rico in shorter time to, I would of thought that driving through the Atlantic Ocean would slow you down some.

I believe the West Coast dealers will be shipped out first due to the longer driving times so watch for trucks and trains going West from the plant :drive:

Can anyone here confirm or deny this info:

Over on Stangnet someone is saying Herb Chambers Ford just got a Truckload of Mustangs in.
Complete and total 100% BS. I saw the order sheet, they have two built and one is bucked the other 10 or so they ordered are clean/unscheduled. What someone probably saw was a truck load of 04's. Note - Beware Herb Chambers will not honor the x-plan. I discovered this the hard way, and because of this very negative experience I am informing folks so they don't pay over msrp. Buyer Beware!

I work at Ford and want to put rumors to sleep...

The 2005 Mustangs ARE being shipped out today, the 23rd (unless a train is de-railed or a semi truck blows up). The mustang launch team has been working around the clock to get the cars on their way to the dealerships. Keep your eye out for them starting today for the Michigan/Illinois dealerships and within 5-7 days for all other dealerships accross the nation!

Thanks for checking that out Matt. I was going to do that last night but it was already too late.

After 2MustangJohn posted credible info I was'nt really worrying about it anymore.
I checked with my salesman first thing this morning and he said he would call me back sometime after lunch but he expected my car by the middle of next week.

Amy you are a nut

God forbid that would happen
