An "Obsessive Illness"

 

im green with envy too i have to wait till february to order mine!! AND I WANT IT SOO BAD I BEEN WORKIN SOO HARD.....and im only 17 goin on 18

 

yup.... I'm pining away. I'm not even functional at work anymore.... all I do is sit here and read this forum.
I have to wait until next spring only because I'd like to have a healthy chunk of change to put down on her.... and enough money for a blower. I don't want to be that guy that says for years that I'm gonna put a blower on it.... and then never do it. I figure if I have the money when I buy it, I can do it right away and not be that guy. .... and since I'm waiting that long, I might as well wait for the '06. So... yeah... talk about an obsessive disorder.

 

This whole thing just blows! :bang:

 

I wish I had the patience to wait for the '06. Simply because of one word... TITANIUM. But, after having this car for almost 4 weeks, and having all the looks, stares, compliments, etc... I am glad I ordered when I did. For all of you who are still waiting... I feel for ya.

 

What brand? There is an Indian Reserve near my work place and they have tons of "Cheap Smokes" trailers out there. I'm sure I could get you tons of whatever you need. B)

 

Good Luck waiting Jessica. Not even a month ago I was right there with you. If I had seen one on the road before I got mine I think I would have lost it right then and there. I hope all you guys get your cars really soon. I know it don't help any but its Truly worth the wait.

Donna, I about wanna go car jack one when I see it on the road... the only thing that has kept me out of jail is that i have yet to see one EXACTLY like I ordered... Once that happens, I will prolly need bail money.

The logical side of me KNOWS its worth the wait... I KNOW I will be very happy I waited... but all of you know that logic doesnt make it any easier...

Like you, I felt like I'd never get my order. I looked at the websites, found a car that was similar (NO IUP though), and bought the car. I don't have any reservations, but I'm sure most here would advise you to wait and get what you really want.

Luckily nobody in my town has one yet (though there are only like 10 people in my po-dunk boondock town) but I saw my first one on the road the other day...It was some kid at the school that I work at!!!

Luckily it was only a V6 so I can still feel superior when my black beauty arrives, but still!! I wanted to be the first!!

The second week of december won't come Fast Enough.

 

Pony, I talked it over with my husband last night. We were very seriously considering just canvassing the local dealers and seeing what we could find. But, in the end, we went out to dinner instead. He convinced me that if I settled for any other car than the one I ordered, I would be unhappy owning it. If say I bought one without IUP, then I would be looking at those with IUP and thinking, "I had one of those on order..." Or if it was a different color, I would feel let down every time I see a black one... that kind of thing.

I am not normally the kind of gal to settle for less on anything... but, I am also the type who is used to getting exactly what she wants, when she wants it! Demanding? Nah, I work for everything I have. That being the case, I am very particular about what I shell my money out on. Well, with the exception of my cars... until my 99 GT, I never really put any real resitrictions on my vehicle. It was just a car... dont get me wrong, I love cars. I grew up around a gear head mother. It just never transcended to my own cars... until NOW.

Bobby, it looks like you and I are getting the same car. Cept, I dont plan on wrapping mine around a tree!!!!
