Man it was like a bad dream, I consider myself a pretty good driver, I am ALMOST always aware on what is going on around me, you know what car you passed, who pulled out after you, what is ahead of you and things like that. Well I was in my truck in medium to heavy traffic I needed to get over to the right and I had just let 2 get in front of me, then it happened! I put on the signal and started to move to the right as I look in my passenger mirror I see the front of a New Mustang right where I was going!
He came out of nowhere! He laid on the horn and hit the brakes I got back in my lane. Man that was close! It must have freaked him out too because he almost came to a complete stop and turned off. I waved my hand trying to apologize, I am not sure but I think I got the famous " Hello how are you wave"
. The car was the same color as mine, mineral grey it had a custom grille and the dual black stripes. It looked real good in the mirror. I went so far as turning around and trying to find the car so I could apologize, plus I did want a closer look at the car
. No luck though, that is a good thing because the owner would probably gave me something I didn't need, black eye, broken jaw, cracked ribs, ect.
Sorry for the boring story but I had to tell someone! I respect all types of cars but when you ALMOST hit one that reminds you of your own
it kinda makes you think!

That'll make your heart pound for a little while!
Hell, if I didn't pass in the right lane I'd never get anywhere. There are so many people who drive right at the speed limit or under and just hang out in the "PASSING" lane and won't move over for you it's ridiculous. If you don't want to drive as fast as me get out of the way! Don't they realize it would be better to move over and let me go on my way rather than have me on their a*%?

I agree with gary. The folks in the middle lane drive at the speed limit or well below it while some people do the same in the "passing lane". Then there are highways where the "passing lane" is the exit lane, and thus you have people driving 55 in a 65 in the "passing lane" waiting to merge onto a different highway.
The easier solution is to increase the speed limit for the faster roads but this would cut into politicians' need for increasing revenue through the use of mobile tax collection agents.
