Those are some healthy numbers, especially knowing they are underrated.

we hope they are unrated. with this car, i dont take anything to serious until i see actual numbers. first stock dyno will shut me up on that one but the 300/320 is set in my mind now for good.

I don't think by any means that we "know" the numbers are underrated. We have heard a bunch of talk about how that is the case, but talk is cheap.

From driving the car, I would not doubt that 300hp is the true number.

Let me know when we have a printout of the dyno sheet of the 05. Until then, I think that 300-305 is the true number.

we aren't talking hundred of horsepower but usually cars with high horsepower might come underrated for insurance purposes.

Shea,

I agree, we can't say if it is underrated or not until someone puts their '05 on a chassis dyno

The Manufacture seems to always underrate the specs, on a performance car due to insurance reasons and especially since they might be challenged in court like one of the Mazda (maybe Subaru) vehicles was way overrated a few years ago and they got in big trouble. They had to offer some kind of restitution to all owners. Anyone remember this? :nono:
