I came to work Thursday and one of my coworkers asked if I heard on the radio about the vandalism in Detroit. My heart sank as he told me about some nutcase breaking into AAI and keying over 300 new Mustangs, setting Ford back on starting deliveries until they could get them all repainted. I didn't beleive him at first, but two other coworkers made similar comments within a half hour, so I bought it. I haven't ordered my car yet, so I wasn't worried about my own, but I could've cried for you guys who've been waiting so long. They even explained how the nutcase was some environmentalist who was against bringing back performance cars, and how Ford was revamping its security measures at the plant. Thursday night no one here even mentioned it, so I knew I'd been had. This morning (Friday) they all had a hearty laugh at my expense for believing their coordinated lies. I guess I talk about Mustangs too much at work. I'll come up with someway to get them back.... :nono: Is that worth a kick in the ding ding, or what?

Ask him when his wife will stop picking his cars for him and let him buy a real vehicle.

Thats about as bad as last weekend here. There was a train derailment near my home and everyone kept saying the cars were loaded with Fords. Even one of the local news media said it. My whole family was giving me a hard time. I knew my car was still sitting unshipped but it made me wonder. Come to find out it was loaded with 452 brand new BMW's. Bad for BMW but at least Ford did not have to deal with the problems. It was a mess. Yeah

Sounds like people where I work. Whenever I bring the Mach 1 in, I park out in the middle of nowhere. They've razzed me before about a tractor trailer not seeing my car and backing over it. I did manage to get the worst offender back though. I told him he's playing with fire by messing with me. I went to the state's website, and downloaded an image of a license plate, photoshopped it for a custom plate and printed it out and laminated it. I slapped it on the front (so neither of us would get in trouble with da po-po). He drove around for a couple of days without noticing it. By that time though everyone at work though. Oh yeah, it read: 'EX-WOMAN'. He said he wondered why he got funny looks when he stopped at a garage one day.

I'm soooo bad.

Rob, fight fire with fire

There is nothing wrong with good natured fun,

I girl I know recently teased me about how she was going to get a Mustang before I got mine, and she almost had me going for a while. (she didn't get the car)

Well her birthday is coming up, what I was going to do was rent a Mustang, park it on her driveway with a big bow on it. I was gonna watch her freak out at her birthday present from her parents, then I would pop out of nowhere, laugh at her and drive away. Too bad the rental places don't have Mustangs now
