When backing out of a parking spot, or sometimes going forward into the spot, I crank the wheels all the way to the left or right. This sometimes results in a really loud metal noise.

What could this be? Is there a TSB for this?

Even if there isn't a TSB Daniel, it doesn't sound right.

If you don't like what it is doing then take it back to the dealer and have them fix it.

You should NEVER crank the wheel all the way until it stops. :nono:

a poping noise or metal rubbing up against metal? If its metal against metal, it could be your rear brakes, I get that all the time I back my car out of the driveway when I first start the car. My driveway is on a hill and if I just let the car roll and ride it down with the brake, I'll hear the metal on metal sound. I think its perfectly normal cause all the cars that I've had have made that noise, including my old Mustang, and the brakes are perfectly fine, just had it out of the shop a week ago.
