I live here in Sacramento and have searched all over the internet and stopped at 10 or so lots around here. There seems to be no GT Coupes anywhere. I asked a guy at Future Ford and he said they won't be getting anymore in. darn....I would've thought that a few would come in each week/month. This stinks....he also said the 06's are supposed to go up 12% on the MSRP. One thing he told me that was bull was that I should look for cars in LA because they are flooded with so many that they are not marking up their vehichles much if at all.

You might be able to find a Mustang GT here in the Los Angeles area, but if you do find one don't be surprised to find markups in the range of $5000 over MSRP.
Some Dealers are adding alarms and new wheels and tires ($450 for the alarm and around $2000...if not more for wheels and tires)

Back in March I saw an 05 GT Vert on a lot with new wheels and tires ($3995) and a dealer markup ($10000)...total price $48000.

If you're using Ford Direct in your search for a Mustang GT, and you're willing to travel to get one, let me know and I'll give you some names of dealers here in So Cal

I would highly doubt tha tthe price will go up 12% especially after we just had a couple price adjustments. My educated guess would be 2.5% or less.

The ones in Napa are manuals...gotta have an automatic. They had a redfire too which is one color I was thinking about. I like the Sonic Blue but the new Vista Blue next year might be a nicer color. The sonic looks really dark in certain lighting. I hate that they are going to jack up the prices next year. I hope 12% isn't true.

Sac. has no GT coupes at all and when they did their markup was HIGH. 5-6k

Hey Luvthem05's: Harrold Ford never marks up the cars - even the Mustang GTs. I recommend you order from them (ask for Sara). Who knows, if you're on her list you might get lucky and she'll call you the next time someone backs out of an order. :-)

Just two weeks ago she emailed me about a black GT ... then two hours later it was sold.

Get on her list - you never know what might happen and at the very worst you'll have a no BS deal on your '06. Just make sure you're ready to pull the trigger when you get the call.

Tell her Mark sent you.
