NJ people, front plate or no front plate?
Quick question for the NJ people out there. Do you have your front license plate on or off your Mustang? I placed an order this past Friday night for a 2008 Mustang GT Permier, black with black and tan interior,Gt appearance package, interior upgrage, and 18" black bullits. Now the toughest part is waiting. When I had my Nissan 350Z I kept the front plate off.

Have mine on, since the dealer mounted the plates by drilling holes in the plastic, (thats how they do it) besides, the law says we need two.

I told my dealer not to drill because I had my own bracket.

I also live in a state that requires a front plate. I piked up a 08 GT about a month ago.. I think I am going to order one of the brackets as well vs screw into my front bumper.

Same deal here, ordered the custom bracket and recently put it on my new 08 GT/CS Vert. The bracket does not screw into the car, it clamps onto the underside of the bumper....
2 plates in NJ, horrible law.

I've got mine on. You drive a Mustang. You're already a magnet to the cops. Don't increase it by driving around without the front plate.
But I did love driving around the 1st month without plates while I had my temp plate.

Easy enough to get pulled over in the Stang...might as well not give them something else to write up. Mine is on. Wish I had another bracket prior to ordering mine so they did not drill but ... already done. If I decide to put a different mount on it, I have seen some nice ways to cover the holes.

Hopefully they didnt drill into your bumper, I would make them fix it on their own dollar. Since you're going with one, make sure you get the clamping one, yet another good reason for living in SC/NC

In Michigan, we only need to have 1 rear license plate
But we are now required to change over our plates to a white background/dark text plate instead of the better looking blue background/white text (similar to PA).

I told my dealer that if they drill the holes for the plate that i wouldn't buy the car. I bought a set of brackets for mounting the plate. but in 1.5 years i have been to lazy to put it on.
