SNOW-yuck! You should see the people down here in S. Florida all bundled up today. We have back to back cold fronts-it's actually in the low 40's. Yet-still no snow.

I usually have a tough time pulling out of my driveway with my T-Bird. But last night I played in the driveway with the 05. All three times it went up the hill no problem. It spun a little at first, then caught. It pulled up the long uphill driveway real easy.
Very impressed.

Get a cheap set of some 15" or 16" rims that'll fit the car.. and get some Blizzaks mounted on them. A set of 4 cost me roughly $425... I got them at Sears when they were clearancing them out.. end of season sale.. check it out in mid Jan
Or get a set of Directional Tires.. those make a world of difference too.
No problems here Just take your time and remember how to drive in the snow... and look out for morons.

215/60-R17 on 17x7 rims would be nice in snow, but Tirerack doesn't list any tires in this size, so 235/55-R17 is probably the best you can do for now. The '05 Five Hundred SEL wears 215/60-R17 tires, so there will probably be snow tires available in this size by next year.

Curious what are you doing for rims. Are you buying a cheap pair for the winter or are you buying a nice pair for summer and using the stocks during the winter.
