NHRA legal Roll bar for a vert
Does anyone manufacture one? I called Agent Forty Seven today, they make the innerframe for a coupe only. Steeda has a bar but its only a 4 point, so it won't work for the track. I'd have one fabbed up, problem is I live out here in the middle of the Pacific. Any ideas?

My son builds sandrails, roll bars and other metal products for off-road vehicles. I can send you his web site. I own a 2007 Mustang GT convertible. I suppose it might be possible for him to design and build the roll cage to my car ( (if he wouldn't hurt it) and ship it to you for installation. What are the requirements for a NHRA approved roll cage? Whats the cost of the approved roll cage you mentioned for the coupe?

Thanks Edduner. Send me his web site address. NHRA requires a 5 point rollbar. Sidebar can be removable.

They dont. You can have the Autopower one welded up to meet NHRA specs. It will need six -by- six plates on each mounting point. The Autopower rollbar is mild steel and will be pretty heavy compared to a chrome moly bar.
I would recommend getting a custom one fabbed up

Thanks guys...
Edduner, i'll shoot him off a e-mail.
Uber and Krash, I've got a CDC light bar on my car now. Question, would my light bar fit over the rear supports on your cars?
Uber, I'd have a custom fabbed up if I could find someone on this island to make one.

Surfnut,
I couldn't tell you whether or not the CDC lightbar fits over the rollbar, as I've never seen the lightbar. Does it sit further back than the rollbar? I'd ASSUME that the lightbar sits at the same height as the rollbar. Where does it attach to the vehicle?

Howzit Krash...
The CDC light bar would sit behind the main hoop at the same height. The rear supports would have to pass under the light bar to the rear seat split. The light bar fits the contour of the vert roof pretty close.
