Hey Indystang my VIN is right close to yours and I don't have a build date either. (112200) Just by using other people's VIN's and dates they said their cars were built I have come up with about 14 days from now. October 15th sounds about right.
I think you are right on the build date too Legendlime. My dealer says to expect delivery the end of October. He is also amazed how much info I am telling Him about this new car. Brad, this website is a Godsend, I would be climbing the walls without it.

I want my car in January...should I order now or wait til like nov??? Please help!
I'd like to add a different opinion. You might want to consider the plant closure over the Christmas holidays, which may be around 2 weeks. Also, if you wait until November, even more orders may be in the system once the advertising begins and people start seeing them on the road. I have a friend who wants to see the car before making any decisions about purchasing one.

I'd talk to the dealer and see what they say.

As far as Christmas Break is concerned, if the car sells as well as Ford and everybody thinks, then AAI has provisions to have a Christmas Break of less than 1 week.

Keep making those cars!!

Is AAI working on Saturdays or Sundays now building cars? I worked on the first Fox line back in the 80's and we worked extra hours M-F and had mandatory Saturdays when demand was up. Sunday was voluntary and the line would run but a lot slower pace due to a shortage in workers. Each worker would do maybe 2 jobs as long as he/she were properly trained on them. I wonder if AAI has something like this set up yet?

i believe someone said before that even if you order now, and don't pick up your car until much later, IF incentives are offered you could still get them. Besides ordering now or in November is only one month difference.
