Lets go with the 13th.

I am working on getting a spot reserved at one of the parking lots in HB, with like 30 spaces for our cars, near the pier so if anyone wants to grab some food.
That sounds good to me.

I'm tied up til' noon on the 13th, but if I can catch up by then, I surely will. With Sea World on the day before, it's gonna be a full weekend!

I might be able to make the drive to Huntington Beach (I'm in LA), keep me posted on the details.

Ok so Sunday the 13th lets meet at La Jolla Shores in the parking lot and cruise up 101 to Hunington to JRabbitt's spot and then do lunch or head on up to somwhere in LA, did we want to do just SD to OC or SD to OC to LA?
Figure that out and then we can set times, if its just to OC I say we have lunch there and then head back down and call it a day. But I am up for whatever.

The 13th works fine for me too. I'll see y'all in HB as I live pretty close by. Won't have my GT yet but it will be great to meet fellow board members (and to see what I'm getting myself into by mid-April!)

Well I am thinking that if we want to do lunch in Huntington then meeting in La Jolla at 10 am on Sunday would be perfect. Give us time to hangout and cruise and take our time without having to be up real early. What do you think Surfn since you will probably be down here and heading back up? Can everyone in SD meet in La Jolla or do we need to make a stop in the North County to pick up others? I myself am in North County but will meet in La Jolla because I would enjoy the drive. JRabbitt what are the plans for when we get to Huntington? Are you talking about the parking lot at the end of the pier?

yeah, I can be at at La Jolla Shores at 10am. I saw we pick up "..." (name?) in Oceanside and keep heading up to Huntington.

I am not so sure I want to go all the way up to LA....unless there are alot of people up there to meet.

Ok lets meet at La Jolla Shores at 10 am on Sunday the 13th, I am thinking of getting there a little bit earlier to meet people and save spots if possible, that place fills up quick. We will plan on leaving the parking lot no later than 10:30 and we can stop at the Oceanside pier parking lot, lets say at 11:00-11:15 depending on the flow of traffic on 101. (this is only if we need to stop to meet more people SO SPEAK UP IF YOU WANT US TO STOP.) And then from there we can get on the freeway and get back onto PCH in San Clemente. The parking lots I believe are paid parking but I dont know if this will be a problem since we will be next to our cars and wont be there long, but be prepared just in case. and then Jrabbitt let us know what is planned for when we get to HB and if anyone wants to join in on the cruise somewhere in SanClemente or Laguna or something to continue up to HB SPEAK UP and we will schedule a stop, otherwise we will meet you all in HB.

Now sound off so we know whos going so we dont leave anyone behind, and if your not in an 05 say so, so we will spot you easily.

I might be able to make O'side by 11:15, but I'll have to juggle a bit and get back to you.

I'm wondering who will set the pace on the freeway... I'm a bit speed shy after getting a ticket this week! Can we keep it under a 100mph? :drive:

Yes we can keep it under 100mph, how is 99mph for you, JK. I think it should be pretty tame for the most part so that we can all stay together. Will be a little harder to keep together on 101 because of lights, but for the most part we should remain together. I think we should all try to refrain from racing.

Well, I am having the hardest time getting anyone from Parks and Recs to return my calls. All else fails, I will get there at like 8am, and just mark off a bunch of spots. Meet at the pier, hopefully it will be dry, we can hang out on the beach, and get something to eat.

My saleslady says my GT will be in on the 14th so I guess I'll join you when there's a drive in April. Have a lot of fun and we'll see you next time!
