First off I want to say I love this site I have been reading for two months unregistered but decided register tonight when I got some good news. At work today in Dearborn or "FORD COUNTRY" I was talking to a customer of mine who informed me that the first special edition will be spring as an 2005 1/2. When I asked him what model he said he couldn't say specfics however it was very familar when I said Mach1 he just smiled and said "well you might be" with a slight grin. When I told him of this site he said that alot of the SE team members stopped by here(so lets hope they take what they read to heart). Also theat they are really making an effort to have the Cobra be an 06 but details on that are sketchy because SVT is verytight lipped about what they have in store. The SE hopefully will a slight Hp increase also. So for al you SE fans keep you fingers crossed and eyes posted as I find out more I will let you guys know. Also the SE might even have a convertible variant so my prayers might actually be answered.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants a ragtop SE. Also I dont if anyone is a Harley Truck fan but he was driving an 05 S-D Harley in the Dark Blue Pearl w/ the lighter blue ghost flames and factory 20's all I can say is my pants are still wet. Also a F150 H-D will reappear in 06 but no decision on 4X4 model yet. If they offer a 4X4 F150 HD I dont know if that or the stang will be in the driveway but my Ford guy will be happy cause he will giving me keys to something.

 

Eh...gimme my darn S.C. Cobra for 07 and I will be happy.

Is that also why Ford rated the GT at 300hp, to create a bigger gap between the GT and SE? Also for insurance probably.

I'm sure they'll use the 4.6L 3-valve. Now that means that we'll probably see them up the compression ratio which also means higher octane ..... but who really cares. I just want a shaker!!!
