Going to be ordering my '06 GT in a month or so and want to see some more pictures of Vista before I finalize my color choice. Anyone have some new photos of Vista?

 

Vista Blue hasn't begun production yet.

thats right we ran first batch of Vista blue stangs yesterday. gotta say i like it, its a nice deep rich blue not quite as dark as true blue. i wish i could take the camera in there but i would get fired

Built a whole bunch of Vista Blue 'stangs last nite (every kind) and I saw some GT's finished w/ the 18' Fanblades !!Man!!!I want one!!!

 

I hope it's quite a bit lighter than True Blue.

No offense Brad, True Blue is just too dark for me.

FYI, when you do an image search on Yahoo for "True blue mustang", Pix of Brad's convertible takes up half of the first page and all of the second.

 

I agree, True Blue is too dark for my tastes. Vista Blue is much lighter.

Hey John, thanks for the update. Since your friend works in the factory, and are able to see this new color, in your opinion, what would he compare the color to, from older colors? Does it look like Guardsman Blue, the color on the old Shelby Mustangs, and Cobras. Thanks for the help.

 

John, since you too saw a whole bunch of Vista Blue Mustangs, would you say that the color looks like Guardsman Blue? Please let me know your opinion. Thanks for the help.

Great! Thanks for the update, man that eases my mind . I also want to know how close it would be to guardsman blue. Still as long as it's not like bright atlantic I will be fine.

Here is a picture I found on the net of a 1965 Fastback in Guardsman Blue. If you asked me, it looks darn close to Vista Blue. I can't wait to see one in person.

If that is how vista will look then theres no thinking left to do. It's getting stripes . What a great color

 

I'm not much of a fan of blue cars, but if i were, that is a nice blue. It's not to dark or not to light, it's what the color blue should look like ...if you know what i mean.

 

Hey Tom, my sentiments exactly . That is why my car is going directly to the body shop after prep and inspection, to get Shelby stripes painted on . Tom, in your opinion, does the Guardsman Blue look like the pics of the Vista Blue GT that is on this site?

Just remember, the Vista GT is in the sun, while the fastback is too, but there are shadows from the house, and trees next to the car, hence the difference in color. I think it's a close call. Anyone is more than welcome to add their thoughts on this new color. I'd like to hear what you and others are thinking. .
