NEW Update TRUFIBER Hood and GT500 ft. end. ----LOTS OF PHOTOS----
Well a few weeks ago I got into a Fender Bender and as we all know it's not a fun things to be apart of. I got to thinking about it and send well it's time to change it up a bit and I went with the GT500 ft. end with the Trufiber Venom hood.
I have been reading about the Trufiber hoods and liked the look a lot. So I called Trufiber and talked to
a great guy Phil. Phil was very helpful with alot of great info on the hoods.
I had a fear as I have never had a fiberglass hood before. But after hearing good things about Trufiber I jumped in and how the Venom hood. Well My paint and body shop "Rocky's" in Rancho Cucamonga said after they picked up the hood from Trufiber. The fit and finish on the the Trufiber hood is GREAT and it's very Well made.
So here are some Photos of Before as the car Started out. Then with the Trufiber hood being painted and installed.
I would like to thanks Trufiber for being so helpful and for Rockys in Rancho Cucamonga for the Great paint and body work.
Let me know what you guys think and if you need any info let me know.

Lookin good man, time to attach the front spoiler...
I'll ask.....what are you talking about? I've had my hood on my GT for over a year now....I have NO idea what you are talking about and tbo of all the numerous members here and on other sites, I've never heard even once something related to what your talking about. Please post info. I'm not trying to accuse you of lieing or anything, but if you have some pertant info please feel free to post it so the rest of us have this knowledge as well.

Andretti,
I'm assuming he's talking about these trays that go under the heat extractor vents to keep water off the engine bay. I didn't know Trufiber sold them. Shelby had them for sale for their hoods. I happened across them online somewhere back when I did the conversion on my 06. I can't remember where I saw them though.

Rob, your probably right. I'm just curious due to the lack of info. I've got the hood...you had one of them too on your old GT......add another 150 people or so who also have had or have the hood currently. The suggestion is that there is a problem due to water with the hood as I read it. Considering all those owners.....I have a hard time understanding there is some water problem due to using it. I may not leave my car sitting outside daily nor drive it in the rain if I can avoid it, but I do wash it...constantly. And I never, ever have had a problem with water that might splash in while I'm cleaning it or any that might get in due to rain. Since I've recommended the hood to numerous people I'd like to think I've never mislead anyone to potential problems.
I'd just really like to hear what the situation is/was.
