New Shelby center caps

Looks like there are some new Shelby center caps out for our wheels.

GT, GTH, and several snakes. But look at the price That's a lot of money for a piece of 2 inch plastic. Anybody buy these yet?

yeah if i had a true Shelby car i would go for it but it is not worth it for a normal GT or V6 unless it is a CS6/8 or a full out Shelby clone

As many GT Mustangs that Ford built you'd think the center cap people would make a GT cap.Even multiple colors to match your car would be nice.Just more clone DNA is all they are selling.
I would like to find some tri-bar pony cap for my Torque Thrust M's.

Nothing new. They're the same ones that Shelby's been selling.

Yeah but its the wrong snake for the GT-500. Thats the snake logo for a GT-350 and SAI has used it on the SGT as well. The Tiffany snake on the GT-500, both current and from the 60s is different. Shelby does not have the licence to the Tiffany snake logo so cannot produce the accessories using it yet. Sure wish they would pony up for the fees and make some parts with the correct logo on them for the GT500s. Even if they cost a few bucks more for the licence fee.

The SGT does not come with any snakes on it upon completion by SAI.

The "wrong snake" was used as the steering wheel emblem and door medallion on the 1969 and 1970 GT 500s.

Sorry I got it wrong on the early GT500s. I was going by what SAI told me at the MidAmerica event when I asked them about the correct logo for the current GT500.

Still, I wish they would produce some product for the current GT500 as that snake logo is not correct for the current car.

man that's a great looking fuel cap!!! I know this is an old post, but can your friend still create these logos? I'm doing a tribute of my own and haven't found any good gas cap emblems for use.

Hey Revan check my thread: https://themustangsource.com/f691/fa...2/#post6736500

From the looks of the USMC one he did, he might be able to help custom what you want! Good Luck!
