Man...those painted mirrors DO look good.

I think I may just go with the painted overlays that cover half the mirror...but yeah the whole thing does look good.

I was really debating between painting the upper half inlay and the whole mirror. I actually told the painter that I wanted to paint the upper half, but when I returned to drop the mirrors off, I told him to go ahead and paint the whole thing. Either way, I think it looks better than all black.

You've got the right idea painting the lower grill bars and the mirrors. That'll be mod 1 for me. What'd that cost ya? Looks great
$100. The body shop told me it would be 2.5 labor hrs if he took the parts off. I took it all off myself. Easy. [/b][/quote]
Your car looks great Love the painted mirrors. Would you please explain how to remove the door panels. I have removed door panels on several different cars/trucks in the past but nothing beats the voice of experience. Thanks in advance. Joe

Tint looks great

Has anyone with a black Mustang done it yet. I think that would be awesome. But seeing it would help me decide.

no door panels to remove. The mirror has it's own "panel" or cover in the reverse side. It just pops off. inside there you'll find a wiring harness and 3-7/16 nuts. Thats it!

tint and mirrors both look great! I'm probably going to do the same thing to mine - the stock mirrors just look too big to me, so having them match will help things I would imagine.

Wow that is simple! Don't know why I didn't notice that before. Thanks very much for the info.

NICE!

The painted mirrors are AWESOME and make the Legend Lime even more gorgeous.

Plus, the tint just makes the paint look even better. VERY nice car!

I've been saying it all along: body colored mirrors make all the difference. It looks awesome, man.

I assume that one can reattach the mirrors so that they're just as secure as they were before - and without screwing up the power function...? Generally I hate doing mods to stuff like that or to the interior, cause it's always where squeaks and rattles seem to develop years down the road. Sort of like when you break a bone...that's always where the Arthritis sets in later.
