Thinking about unpluging the battery to reset the computer but not sure if thats a good idea??,

B) Bet you recently gassed up; check you gas cap is on tight.
Drive it for 15-20 minutes and it may reset itself.

Unfortunately I've tried that and just about everything else short of standing on my head and that still hasn't worked for my current car. Hopefully it will for my new mustang though.
Try another gas station. I had the same problems with my prev car but only at certain stations.

Going to get my plates today. I've asked the service guys to rebalance my front wheels. There's a slight shimmy at 58mph that shouldn't be there. I have about 290 miles on it.

The rapid shut offs are really dependent on the station and pump. Factors such as pump nozzle type and flow rate can cause unintended shut offs. Try other stations. If you are really having trouble try turning the nozzle upside down (NASCAR style).

Has anyone with an '05 GT noticed any problems with the ride quality at freeway speeds? I live in L.A. and many of the highways around here have perpendicular lines (bumps) spaced about 6 or 7 feet apart along the road. At freeway speeds, these lines cause my '05 GT to have a very bumpy, almost shaking, type of ride. My '02 GT wasn't as sensitive (or firm) on these uneven road surfaces.

I had my Ford service department check it out, and they said nothing is wrong with the car. It might just be something I have to get used to. I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same issue.

I have now officially experienced the difficulty pumping gas into the car problem. I will say this, there was one significant difference between the first fill up (no problem) and the second (issues galore). I filled the car up with a little less than half a tank when I had problems. The first time the car was very close to empty. Not sure if this has anything to do with anything, but just an observation.

I am on the verge of feeling like they'll be a retrofit to the neck of the gas tank. This issue is popping up too often and at too many different gas stations.

Does the new Stang have the infamous ice cold A/C?
Haven't tried the A/C yet, but the heater blows like a Salamander. It'll be nice for those cold Indiana winters.

When the battery is disconected the Auto trans computor resets or relearns driveing habitts, story is in the owners manual anyway.
