I definitely agree with you on that! They need a more robust advertising budget or something. Some of the commercials are really good for the Mustang but then others fail miserably.

Well they definately spend the money, as the cost of advertizing is based on the times ads run. They just don't sell excitement.

-They never explained the capability and mileage the diesel expedition actually got
-They never made a point as to how much room a focus has or its tall stance over its competitors
-They never, well, ranger/freestar? what are those?
-They never mentioned the new explorer and 06 expys have gone DOWN in price, now GM is making a big deal of the same thing over 6 months later. The explorer add is like a range rover. It has HAD a rebate and a price drop since day one-people wait for the explorer rebates before looking.
-They never exploit how green Ford has become with a bunch of SULEV and PZEV vehicles, most of the line has less emissions then competitors hybrids. Nor do they mention extensive recyclability of ford products or innovations like using paint fumes to power the lamps. When the other manufacturers get this from Ford, they'll put it in THIER commercial...
-Mustang should be pumped non stop, with the rest of the line in the backround
-No mention that the superduty has reached an unbelievable 19k lbs max towing-nearly 4000 more then any competitor, nor mentioned the new frame with F550 suspension in 2005, it got a MAJOR rework, chevy and dodge are LAUGHABLE in comparason.
-All show Freestyle commercials, no showing the room and flexability of the interior-its major selling point nor its gas mileage
-No mention of the CVT or Haldex AWD in the 500, nor any safety push
-No hybrid Escape commercials, the world only knows hybrid=prius

it goes on and on....

They should do something tough, like wanna be full size trucks like Titan, take two F150s and pull it apart with chains or something, something rememberable. Advertize the V6 stang with a youth campaign as well, its never ever mentioned in ads.
