Looks like some hip hop bs magazine fro ricer boyz who love to wear their hats backwards and baggy pants .. ... "50 cent ..his cars ... his flesh wounds". What the heck does that have to do with cars??

It never ceases to amaze me how people with **** and moan about this car because it doesn't have as many forward gears as a semi, doesn't top out at 230MPH, can't carry 14 pasengers, doesn't have a hyperdrive-powered thermonuclear suspension, and doesn't re-stir your coffee if the creamer separates.

It's a Mustang! It's fun at a price point. Can you buy more capable cars with snazzier interior appointments and more exotic underpinnings? Sure you can.

At this price, quality level and tradition/heritage? Uh, wait a minute. . .

uh, no.

Yea but you gotta love it when you have to bring $70,000 cars into the equasion when comparing mustangs. I still say in the sports car world that less then 100 hp for every $10,000 is overpriced.

Later..."...It simply feels like a very fast, very big American two-door sedan. The GT is no longer a car for bad kids. It's a car for the older, fatter, balder, mainstream adults those kids have turned into."
For the record, I AM that balder, fatter, older man the kid turned into. My minions and I rule the world and we crush all others to dust with our V8 powered mid-life crisis chariots.

ricerboi's or closet chevy freaks, take your pick. (I mention this because it seems those camaro guys are awefully envious of the Cobra's IRS and looked down their noses at the live axle on several occasions)

Exactly, what's the point? Better mileage at high speeds?

I don't even use 5 gears at all times when driving a standard sedan. For most cars in the 150-200bhp range, the gear ratio makes the 2nd and 3rd gear redundant except for overtaking and very steep inclines...

YOU ROCK! lmfao

Most 6 speeds aren't performance oriented. If they were performance oriented, 5th gear would be a 1:1 ratio. Most tranny's like the T-56 essentially have 2 overdrive gears.

I'm not there yet, but almost spit beer on my screen when I read your post. I'm inbetween the punk in high school and my mid-life crisis.
