New High for the Shelby?

So I was looking through the autotrader and I came across a new black 07 shelby GT500. Price: $118,000cdn. So about 105 US i think.

The highest price I saw on ebay was 75, is this one a record breaker, has anyone seen higher? (aside from the first one that got auctioned)

Please provide a link.
There was a pic of one in Cali a few months back with a hand printed ADM taking it to 115 grand. But the biggest ***** I have yet seen go to this tool in Calgary, with the car in another location. Not only is this creature of the misguided opinion that the Mustang is worth 100 grand CAN

It thinks its so valuable that; "$200.00 viewing fee, which is put to price on purchase,"

DIAF .

It's free to gaze upon the $150k Ford GT at any dealership. I don't see why you'd have to pay $200 to look at a supercharged 07 Mustang GT with a body kit and different interior?

Its got a big block silly, so its not just a supercharged gt.

But I do think that is ridiculous that they charge to just look at it. I guess it helps weed out the people that just goto the dealership to test drive stuff and not buy.

I don't think they charge you to test drive a '05/'06 Z06, which would completely dessimate the GT500. Ford seems to think very highly of themselves on this one.

This is complete crap, I hope no one buys these overpriced cars and then when the price drops I hope each one of them has to be sold for under invoice. The dealer always makes money off a sale, so they should go out of their way to make sure the customer is 100% happy, these guys obviously will not be making anyone happy.

While there are some race engineered parts derived from the $150k GT, the engine is a well engineered 5.4L 4V V8 with a sweet blower. The 5.4L quad cam V8 was used in the Navigator, and is still in use with the Falcon XR8, FPV GT, FPV GT-P, and a whole slew of Ford Australia products (XR8 5.4L quad cam V8 makes 348 fwhp and the FPV GT makes 388 fwhp).

The biggest disadvantage to the GT500 is its weight. It weighs more than the 92-97 Crown Vic / Grand Marquis / Town Car!

However, as everyone here would agree, $43k is an excellent price for the GT500!

That's exactly what a millionaire I know did. He didn't have to pay a million dollars for it though.
