Is there any way to tell if a recently built stang has the redesigned tank already installed, other than the part number?

Why would that kind of information be useful at all?

There was a issue with the design related to filtering vapors. It caused gas pumps to continue to shut off as if it were full throughout the fill-up process.

So far I've found only one gas pump, that doesn't agree with my 2005 tank. Even that one works fine, if I hold the trigger rather than set it on a notch. As of today, I consider the tank fill a minor problem. I'm glad they have come up with a fix (new tank with a larger vent), if I should need it in the future.

So this is probably a dumb question, but what does TSB stand for? I too have found that the fill up problem is minor now because I have found what works for me. I have the problem at every station in town, but if I turn the pump handle 45 degrees to the right, I don't have any problems. This just means that I have to hold the handle the whole time now instead of locking the handle and walking away.

Because some of us got our cars a while ago and would like to know of any issues others are having so we can watch out for them.

I took mine in on Monday, for the gas tank TSB, plus for some vibration noise on the cabin and some noise when braking. Dealership ordered the tank, but it won't be here until Thursday. Delearship offered me a Focus as a loaner, but allowed me to "upgrade" to another car for $5/day. Driving an Expedition now, until they are done with my car.
