New Foose edition

Sorry mods, not sure where you want the thread so here it is and someone can move it if it needs to go elsewhere ...

Seems Foose will have their own model mustang out at the ford dealers soon. Two versions one NA that is supposed to be available at any dealer, and a supercharged special edition that will only be available at/through some dealers ...

I'm not particularly fond of any of the special editions that have come out so far with the exception of the PJ edition. I just know there are those out there that do like them and thought that someone might be interested in what is coming out in addition to the 'makeup kits' ford is producing currently.

Not a big fan for most of the new Foose stuff I've seen, just seems like his name plastered all over with very little originality to back it up.

First things I thought when I looked at the pictures was "man do those brakes look mighty tiny in those big ole shoes".

Wasn't all that impressed with pics of the Stallion.... this past weekend I saw one in person for the first time at Silver Springs in Ocala Florida.

Lemme say it is MUCH more impressive in person - pics do NOT do it justice....

I like Chip's stuff, in general, and love Overhaulin', but I do have two issues with his disigns. First, he overuses the two-tone thing alot. Second, his name is just everywhere on his cars. If I had one, I'd definitely want his name on it, but not on every part! He doesn't seem arrogant in any show I've seen him in, but one Foose per square foot seems kinda conceited. I'd like to see his Mustang model in person to decide what I think. I'd love him to redo my '05 GT, but he's already done one on Overhaulin', and that won't happen again.

I don't think that Foose plasters his name everywhere, it's the guys that make the cars that pay him millions to market his name. He has a contract with Unique performance and they build a car that he "assisted" in designing, etc. They know that his name is hot right now so I am sure they are trying to get the most mileage out of it as possible.

I do think that since Overhaulin came out he has been over selling/ lending his name to products, but I guess I would do the same to bring in the cake and also support projects that I like.

This is from the press release:

Performance enhancements include [...] 11-inch rear and 12-inch front DecelaRotors.
I just did a quick search and I could only find Baer DecelaRotors for the 99-04 GT, direct OEM replacements. Does anyone know whether they are interchangeable with the 05+ rotors? I know the 05+ ones are larger, but the price on RPM Outlet looks good, at $375.90/set (front+rear):

I want to know when they make their rocker panels available for sale. I'd like to put them on my car!

Funny that I abosolutely love Foose's work, but do not like anything he has ever done to Mustangs whatsoever, particularly Eleanor.

I like his work on other cars but I do not like the overall look of his Mustangs I think he messes with them a litte too much or something. Sometimes it's the paint job, other times the wheels are to . He does do a pretty good job on other cars though. Strange Foose would be interested in doing a conversion to sell at dealers, has he done that before?

Those quarter window louvers are pretty sweet though. Anyone know who makes them?

I love the show overhaulin', and like his designs, however, out of Saleen, Roush, Shelby, and Foose, the latter is my least favorite. Not a big fan of the front end... . Saleen would be my favorite
