2007 Gta?

Ok, I know that the original GTA in the '60s stood for a Mustang GT with an Automatic transmision.

Anyways, the California Special (GT/CS) is considered a special edition even though when ordering the car it is referred to simply as a package for the GT.

With that thought in mind, couldn't Mustangs equipped with the GT Apearance package be properly referred to as a GTA?

Of course cars with both the GT/CS package and the GTA package could be referred to as GT/CS, since the California Special is the more dominate name.

Let the debates begin! What is your opinion?

sure as Ford can call cosmetic Packages SE's you can call your Apperance package a "GTA" if you want either way it really makes no difference.
