New Exhaust video: Pypes OR-X and Magnaflow Axle backs

Decided to make an updated exhaust video on my own because I'm still waiting for my freaking film maker buddy to finish editing the more professional footage we shot last month haha.

Anyway, here it is:

And for comparisons sake, here's a similar video of my car with the magnaflow axlebacks before the X pipe installation:

I really like the way it sounds, it's LOUD when I'm on the throttle, and I love the way it sounds decelerating in gear from higher RPMs, but it's still pretty tame in daily driving. My neighbor is a cop and he hasn't said anything about it being too loud in the neighborhood or anything haha.

It does drone pretty badly at 1500 RPM in 5th gear under load, but only right at that spot, which ends up being like ~45mph with my 3.73 gears, it's not an issue though because I just use 4th for those moments. It's drone free at highway speeds.

I do like the top video best as the sound is loud enough and you can hear that stang coming & going from a ways away

Thanks! That's my favorite thing about it too, you can hear it even after I go over the top of the second hill.

But like I said it's not too obnoxious when I'm just driving around either which is nice.

Both sound good to me with the new setup being more "showy."
Not criticizing your video skills but both videos are about a minute longer than they need to be.

LOVE the ant!

The ant's my best friend! haha. I know they're longer than they need to be but I'm no expert, I guess youtube has a tool I could use to shorten them but I've never looked into it.

In the video with the new exhaust I did a flyby back past the camera but the memory car was out of space so it stopped recording before I got back to the camera.

Like I said my buddy is a film student at college and we shot some more 'professional' quality stuff right before Christmas but I don't think he's finished editing it yet. It's some little mini-documentary thing he was making for a class.

a buddy gave me a set of magnaflows he pulled off his shelby when he traded it in, they sound good, but do drone right around 2100 in 3rd, nothing ridiculous, but if the radios not on its unmistakeable...

I almost gave them to another buddy(also had a white/blue- but 08) but he didnt want them- then I found out the gt used the same mufflers as the shelby- and it was by far the simplest muffler change on the planet, probably took 20 minutes including putting stuff away
