Have you tried online comparison sites? I used www.insweb.com and went with Amica auto insurance. Previously has Allstate for 10+ years
Also, in addition to what KdF says, I believe Insurance companies also look at your credit report for your "worthiness". Also look into discounts such as defensive driving. I know if I moved out about 7 miles into the next county, I would get an additional 10% off my insurance.
Are there any Specialty insurance companies for newer vehicles for limited miles in a given calender year. Kind of like the classic car insurance like hagerty.com?

I hear ya. BTW, what kind of coverage’s does everyone have? I have $25k on collision and property damage and $50k on Bodily injury. My insurance cost me $70 a month with Nationwide.

BTW- regarding my post about getting married...I really wanted a new Mustang GT when I graduated and got my first job out of college (10+ years ago!). Insurance quotes were in the $3,500 to $4,000 per year range. Then I got married. It dropped to about $1,500 a year! I literally bought my Z-28 (sorry guys!) two days after I got back from my honeymoon.
I got you beat, 100k 300k 100k $665 a year. Good driving record, with a pickup as daily driver, a harley and a house on the policy. I also decided to got with the less than 7500 mile a year discount since I put 6000 miles on my old car last year. That saved me about a hundred bucks alone.
Guess mine's not so bad with GEICO.
300,000/100,000/300,000 full coverage - $500 deductible
07 GT Vert, 5 speed -- 24K miles per year --- $364 -- six months
05 Solara Vert V6 -- 15K miles per year ---$282-- six months
Goin on 60 in June.
Drive 40 miles per day each way to work -- SE Georgia (probably pay Jacksonville rates)

I hate ALL of you guys, I need to renew again, and my policy is about 1500 for 6 months.
I live in miami, 27 years old, clean driving record, single, no kids, Progressive Drive Insurance. And that was the BEST I could find from a reputable company. Statefarm was almost 4k a year.

One thing I noticed when I moved from Chicagoland is the goofy insurance laws here in Florida. I'm sure we get charged a little more just because of those.

I would look around. I pay about 25% less than you and that includes a 91 300ZX (liability of course).
Mine is 1600/yr, still have one ticket left (reckless over 95) that goes away on the insurance record in oct. 35 single, high coverage payouts-forget the #s but like 2nd from the highest, low deductables on everything but collision and comp(maxed them up). Progressive. Will go back down under $1000/yr after that ticket 'drops'. It should be higher but I've been with them a while.
