I ordered my stang! Auto Windveil Blue GT, loaded with everything except the haker 1000 (waste of money) and bodyside mouldings (ugly/useless).

My one question is, when I order the GT, I signed the order/invoice form saying that I'm paying $38,000 (after all fees, taxes), can my dealer come around and bite me in the hiney saying that I now have to pay more because prices have gone up? Or is the price I ordered the car at final?

I read the thread on prices in the U.S, so I assume that Canadian prices are going up too. Does anyone have the new invoice/holdback Canadian price list?

Getting closer to get my Stang.....the only thing that my prevent my GT from being built it the IUP holdback/lawsuit. I just don't want any last minute suprises!!!

WINDVEIL BLUE ROCKS! Silver close 2nd.

When you sign the sales agreement, you are locked into the financing and price rates at that date.

I don't believe prices are going up in Canada. If anything, they could go down because of the way the Canadain and American dollars values have changed, but don't hold your breath

I just ordered yesterday, and no, Canadian pricing hasn't changed any (both in dealer cost, and MSRP) from what was posted on this site. My dealer showed me the cost / msrp breakdown of what I ordered, and it was identical to what I had calculated from the price list here.

The way my dealer explaned it to me, was that if the price increases between now, and march (when my car hopefully arrives) I am price protected at todays price. If the interest rate goes down (and he doubts it will anyway) then I will pay the lower rate.

Also shop around. I ordered again from a small town dealer and got $2000 below MSRP. (Little more than cost + 1000). Dealers in my city are not budging at from full MSRP.
