New for 2008 thread
Doing a google search on "vapor silver" and stumbled across this thread on fordgt500.com.
http://www.fordgt500.com/forums/showthread.php?t=700
Lots of good info on colors, HIDs, interior lighting from the super moderator, 07 Shelby. Confirms much of what has been previously discussed on here.
I signed up on there and asked if he could confirm or deny whether Grabber Blue and Amber Gold are going to be 2008 colors.
Looks like Tungsten might be history after 2007. Silver Metallic and Vapor Silver confirmed (vapor was previously confirmed in a thread on here about the 2008 GT 500 colors).

I found out today that the HID and the interior illuminence is a package. You have to pay for it.I did see the prototype 2008 GT Mustang and the interior lighting are pretty cool. They are LED's that shine down on the floor on the drivers side, passenger side,in the back seat on both sides and in the cup holders. You can change the color of the LED's for whatever mood you are in.

Found some more 2008 info on the options. The thread is about the 2008 Shebly GT 500 but maybe many of these options will be available on the GT and/or V6

Doesn't sound like retrofitting illuminated cup holders would be either easy or desireable.
Although...
That feature probably would be useful when cruising down the 101 at 100 MPH at 3:00 AM in the morning while swiggin' a beer.

I'm in the happy camp with my 07 (...and no need for a weekend pass at this camp... ...)
Unless there is something really amazing from the factory, most of what is done year to year can be done and done better on and with your existing car.
Besides, if you are always waiting to see what the next year is going to bring, you'll never know the joy of setting spurs to a Stang and hearing her howl at full gallop...life is good at 300+ HP!
