Not sure if they are using a SN95 wheel or something but this:

doesn't quite look exactly like this (ride height seems to be a lot lower) :

It also looks like there is a LOT more room between the tire and the wheel well (side to side I mean, not just the top). There's something goofy about the wheels in the Mineral Grey pic...it may be a trick of the lighting, but I'm not sure. Anyway, there are tons of other pics where it all looks OK, so there's nothing to get worried about.

Also, now that Mineral Grey has popped up, that means we've seen a 2005 in every color except Screaming Yellow, right?

*Checks the colour list* Yep, Screaming Yellow is the only "no-show."

My thoughts --

1. The mineral grey picture is very sub-optimal conditions, and the flash is illuminating the ground under the car as well as the inside of the wheel well.
2. The picture of the red one has no illumination whatsoever of the wheel wells or under the car.
3. I'd bet the red one is a show car and has been lowered by Ford for looks. The Mineral Grey one might be a true "production" version, with no tweaks.

I hope we see a screamin' yellow one soon!

Dave

Dano,

I was hoping the gap would be a little tighter, although it is much better than the outgoing Mustang.

I want a good look at the actual production car before I decide whether to drop it...

Are there any real pics of Torch Red? I know the ones on the timeline, but I mean in real life situations like we have seen the Sonic Blue and the other ones/

Real pics? There are some on the timeline that I'm pretty sure are real pics of a torch red car.

Me too, but I have a gut feeling that it will be MUCH better than the current version.

I think we'll get a Cobra-like gap. For me, that's perfect. Now others (maybe yourself) might want lower? Its a personal preferance.

I can't wait to see a production up close though.

BTW, the grey car may be an older mule?

i really like the grey. reminds me of my 02 Altima. it was polished pewter. looked coppery in sunlight and grey under less perfect light. but it is definitely a color you have to like. still hoping for a competition orange soon. then get my 92 painted orange and i will have 3 different generations of mustangs with the same color

Those are some nice pics!!! Now I can't decide between the Sonic Blue and Mineral Grey. I will need to see in person to decide. Although a Competition Orange w/ Black stripes would be nice too. If that ever happens.

I just have a couple of questions about those cars.
1. What is the electrical cord under the front bumper of the blue one for?
2. What is the tape on the back window of the black one for?

Pre-production test mules... they are going to have some weird stuff on them that production models won't.

The cord could be for an engine heater... maybe recharging the battery...
