Ok guy and gals, I have a 70 maverick that I bought a couple years ago that I was going to make into a drag race car. I’ve got about 4000.00 into the car. As well as a lot more in engine parts. (still need to add engine and transmission)
I’ve been considering selling the car so I can have more mod money for the new Mustang (Whipple). I’ve taken out the stock rear end and replaced it with a ford 9” along with coil over shocks, and wheelie bars. Also added sub-frame connectors, roll cage and painted the car.
Even though I haven’t paid out any labor I still have a lot of “my” time into this car, that I wont recover.

Should I or shouldn’t I sell it? :bang:

Dont sell! I feel that if you sell you will regret it.

What are you expecting to get out of it? My gut feeling is no, don't do it.

Don't know what I could recover from it but hopefully 3,500 or 4,000.
It is a complete rolling chassis. Brand new front and rear supension, 4 wheel disk brakes. I've been going back and forth for a week now.

I'm not saying it's not worth it, but I think you'll have a hard time getting that much out of it. Unless of course you got somebody lined up already.

Personally I'd be waiting on blowers on the new 3valve until we all know for sure what it's breaking point is.

I also say no... you will likely regret it for the rest of your life. Especially if you blow your engine with that whipple.
