I am having the armor coat done this friday. I beleve that it is just a second clear coat. But, I am having them put my stripe kit on before the armor coat it. The leather protector I don't think is nessary there are leather protection kits that cost 25 bucks that would prob. be better.

I think back 5 10 years ago it was a waise, but last year my father bought a Dream Cruiser (Special edition PT) and he had them put their "protective" coating on it, and I was REALLY impressed, and it makes it really easy to wash

what is the "protective coat"? Is it a teflon coat? I know that I used a teflon wax on my '98 and it made it super easy to clean.... too bad I was really **** and I waxed it every time I cleaned it and it still took hours to do, but yeah..... anybody know for sure what the "protective coat" is?
