Hey guys im new to this site, the president of my mustang club recommended it. He bought a new mach 5 months ago, with the sites help he was able to obtain an X plan number and he got a great deal. I am about to order a yellow 05 GT in Orlando Fl. They are willing to five me 400 off the sticker and i know alot of people are getting them any where from 100-500 over invoice, which I dont think is fear, Im going on my 3rd mustang in 5 year, just love them and I want a great deal because I know In 6 months They will have rebates, but I need 2 get it now so I can get out of My Bullitt while I get a reasonable price.

So if anyone could please email me about possibly giving me an X plan number so I can purchase this car I would greatly appreciate it

my email address is SoCoRocks24@aol.com

thanks again

Matthew

Don't know if this will help you or not, but I saw a post over on BlueOval News in the Employee section where someone was asking for that and someone responded to them. Good Luck.

If you don't mind waiting a year, join the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association). I think it is about $40.

It has to be a Ford Salaried employee who "gives" you one, X-plan partners can't!

There "might" be one here

Yeah, I got my EAA membership about a month ago and saw that they had the plan. Luckily, I get it through another organization. If anyone out there is a vet, especially one drawing a disability check from the VA, join the Disabled American Vets(DAV). You can user your eligibility immediately with them. If you're a year out, the EAA is a good way to go. In either case, you're helping a good cause!

I believe that when the Friends and Neighbors X plan first came out, only Ford Salaried employees could give PINS out. However, I believe that this is open to all A plan eligible employees at this point in time, meaning Hourly or Salary.

If your a recent grad from a few universities like University of Michigan at Dearborn, your eligible for an X-plan...most others only offering $400 off.

B) Been a member since '88. You don't have to be drawing VA disability to join; only need to be a vet w/Honorable Discharge.

I can give you an X-Plan. My school qualifies for 2 ford vechiles at X-plan price. I will use one for myself, but I have no use of the second pin.

No, you cannot. There are two "types" of X plans that Ford offers. They work exactly the same way, except eligiblity (Who can use them). A Ford employee can generate a pin for ANYONE. If you qualify for X plan through your employer or organization (ie, you are NOT a Ford employee), you may ONLY do so for you or your spouse. Your children, parents, brothers, sisters, etc ARE NOT ELIGIBLE!!!

Ford Employees generate FRIENDS AND FAMILY X plan PINS from AXZ plan website.

Partner Recognition X plans (You generate for yourself from fordpartners.com) are for YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE ONLY!!!

Dealers must verify eligibility by you showing proof of affilitation with an employer, or organization (ie, member cards, check stubs, etc). That's not to say every dealer will do this, but if you abuse the terms of these plans, you are subject to not being able to use them anymore. I would assume, maybe even legal action (after all, Ford re-imburses dealers actual $$$ for each X plan sale).

To break it down in plain english:

IF your X plan PIN is generated by a FORD EMPLOYEE, Anyone is eligible to use it, so long as it is generated for YOU by the EMPLOYEE.

If a PIN is generated by someone who is NOT a FORD EMPLOYEE, then ONLY the eligible person, and their spouse is eligible.

I hope this clears this up once and for all.

Yes, all Hourly and Salary Employees can give these to anyone.

I periodically make charitable donations to DAV.

Can you join DAV if you are still in the active duty military (DAV web page is down until 27 Septeber)?

What if I plan to buy my Mustang in 2-3 years. Will the X-plan PIN expire? Should I wait a year before I make the purchase?

So sometime in '06 I should get the X-plan PIN to buy a late '06 or an '07? Will the X-plan work for a Cobra?

You should get a PIN when you're ready to buy/order the car. There's no need to get it ahead of time. As far as the Cobra, maybe - maybe not. Right now Thunderbirds aren't eligible for x-plan pricing, but 04 Cobras are. It can change though

I'm a 13 year Vet, U.S. Navy and that had nothing to do with me getting my x-plan :P

The DAV is a good idea though, even if you don't want an x-plan
