Need help deciding on buying!

I'm currently trying to get a GT, but I'm having some issues on choosing. It will be my first mustang. I've heard that mileage over 100k is not an issue, but others said that it is.
I'm mostly interested in getting white rather than black. I'm leaning towards the 08' since it's newer and has an aftermarket touch screen and has a black interior.
I'm also fairly new with the world of mustangs so I apologize in advance!

My choices are:
05' GT Deluxe (White)
123,000+ miles / $9,444

05' GT Deluxe (Black)
47,706 miles / $12,852

07' GT Deluxe (White)
89,214 miles / $12,995

08' GT Deluxe (White)
95,551 miles / $12,495

I'd go with the 08 if I were presented the options but the lower miles on the one 05 is intriguing

I'd get the best one of the three white ones. I owned a black vehicle once, and once was enough.

If all else was same, good paint on all, etc .... I'd probably choose the '08, then the '07, then the '05 in that order and if none of them ..... I'd keep looking. I look at vehicle condition and I like to talk to the PO ..... get a feel for how they look at a vehicle. There's basic transportation that get's rode hard and put away wet and there's "pets" that get pampered.

Something to consider: The 4.6l V8 was changed in 2007 to update the cooling system and spark plugs. The 4.6 is an extremely durable engine and should be fine, even with 100k. I'd be curious about the 47k GT though, is that a garage queen?

The '07 sounds like it's too high priced, even with the mileage different. One year newer and only 6K more and the '08 is $500 less? Something's weird with the '08, or I'm right about the '07.

What tbear said about the black one. That isn't even in my list. Once is enough for me too.

I would have picked the '07 outta them all, but again... I think it's overpriced. Therefore the '08 is the choice I'd make, if it matters...

There has to be more than that going on with the two...

I believe the 2005's will have 3.55 rear gears, whether auto or manual. Beginning (I think) in 2007, the standard rear gear for GT auto trans is 3.31, I think, with 3.55 as an option.

Not an end-of-the-world difference; just one of the little things that changed.

Another thing to consider is, are they all stock? The low mile '05 would probably be the most likely to be modified, but you said you'd prefer white. Check out the '07 and '08 and see what's been done to them

I daily drive my '09 and it only has about 65k and I've had it since '09

Have you thought about going for a '11? That coyote looks nice

if any are one owner, thats good...theyre about the same car. unless youve got leg problems, I'd opt for a stickshift- these cars are a blast to drive...my wife likes her auto, but i'd much rather drive mine...one son liked driving mine when we went out west, one wanted to drive her automatic...third son has no intention of even learning stick, to each his own as they say...

clean black cars look great...but often require all you do is constantly clean the black car

If the '05 is a stock, one owner, garage kept example I would go for that one. Miles matter, unless all highway, which is just taking someone's word for it. Good luck with your search.

Shop around more. Check blue book. Test drive more than one car. Buy from a privet party if you can. Dealerships tend to charge more for less.

I somehow don't think a plant is gonna be selling a car, much less throwing any parties.

I don't know. I once partied with a variegated privet. Helluva good time. Could really hold his liquor. Everything was fine till I threw up on him.

Try living in Texas with Alloy Grey and no garage/covered parking. Even with a garage when you take it out it's going to get dusted with pollen. After washing mine stays clean for about 2-3 days, still looks clean from a distance for maybe 4-5 days, but needs a wash more frequently than I want to wash it haha
