Need guidance on wheels, tires, TPMS

I'm trying to decide between the optional polished 18s, or going with the stock 17s and getting aftermarket wheels/tires later. If anyone can answer or give an opinion I'd appreciate it.

Firstly, I've heard that you get suspension tweaks with the optional 18s but haven't been able to find details. Is the suspension any different, and if so are the changes noticeable and/or valuable?

Secondly, 07s have the tire pressure monitoring system. If you get aftermarket wheels do you have to transfer the TPMS monitors or can you just drive without them? And if you drive without them what happens -- just a dash indicator light?

Thanks to all ...

If it were me I would get some 18's with fatter rubber in the back just in case I did some performance later I could get more traction but if not I would def go with the 18's

I've heard that the TPMS monitors are one-time use only, so you may have to obtain a new set for any wheels you swap in.

The straps are one-time use as you have to cut them off to remove the sensors. But the sensors are re-usable.

Yup,the sensors are re-usable.Reset and away you go.My replacement sensors bands look like a big hose clamp and are reusable on rims up to 20 inch.
