Need advice / ideas for custom exhaust tips
So I have installed the Cervinis side exhaust on my car and it looks great. After a very short time the aluminum tips have become corroded because they are only polished and they are very hard to keep clean.
Guys at my work (work to remain nameless) are going to make me some replacement polished stainless steel exhaust tips that will remain nice and shiney. They can to anything the imagination can think of, so I am looking for ideas. I thought instead of the twin oval tips having one large oval opening but it might look like a trumpet. They are thinking of subtle flames in the tip opening towards the rear of the opening. They ruled out a FORD logo in the tip itself because it would restrict the exhaust too much. (I didn't like that idea)
One of the guys doing it is a bit of a hot rodder and excited to do something different.
So, I am looking for ideas, pictures, something that can guide me. It is nice to have the opportunity to have something done that is custom no other person has. The price is right too
I have attached a couple pics of the car now.

Since the opening on the rocker panel is oval and designed for the double oval tips, a single oval exhaust tip, as the above suggestion, might compliment it.

That is what I am leaning towards. I thought maybe a running pony inside the pipe laying flat on the bottom so you could see it when standing beside the exhaust. It would only be visible after a good cleaning (would get black quickly) prior to a car show.

2010 Mustang GT, thanks for the work you did on that. As I suspected, the first one is what I am leaning towards with a thicker flange face so that the opening is a little smaller but the outside is still the same.
Nothing too flashy, but different than the rest. The one with the slats in it are kinda cool too.

12 Seconds in. Bash Performance has an exhaust that looks great. I don't know if this is made by them or supplied by a Vendor to them, but the video gives you a clear shot at the tip.
