Bump...Only 2 weeks away. This will be a great show and there are already over 360 pre-registered. There will be a Native American pow-wow with authentic buffalo burgers Friday night.TMS members, come to MUSTANG, Oklahoma!!!

 

Can you PM me costs and specifics for entry fees and show fees. Might be some of us from Tulsa attending.

I'll be there with my girlfriend, and the Mustang. Already signed up and got the hotel room reserved. Looking forward meeting everyone that shows up and having a great time at the show. Of course, bringing home a trophy would be a nice side benefit too. Look for my car to be there.

We should try and do a group picture for all TMS members that can attend on Saturday. Any chance we could all cruise over to the water tower and get some shots? Been raining all day here in Tulsa I guess the field might be muddy. Input? Anyone from Mustang have any other suggestions????

 

We could do the water tower shot or gather around one of the "welcome to Mustang" signs. I think a group shot is a great idea. I won't be there until Saturday. I have a conference all day Friday and my son's t-ball team has a game Friday night. It's gonna be hard for me Friday because I'll be within walking distance of the show Friday, but won't be able to attend til the next day. By the way, my car won't be entered in the show, but will be at the SW Tuning booth on display. Hope to see you all there!!!!!!!

GREAT TIME AT THE SHOW!!!! I had a blast at the show guys! Great to meet all of you that I could. I did come away with a great sunburn!

 

Glad you had a good time. Final count was 482. I got a nice sunburn myself!

 

482 I figured higher than that. But hey thats still a lot. Again I had a blast. Next up Mid America Shelby meet in June here in Tulsa. I hope to see you all there! I posted a link on the thread for the show for info.

 

Guys I got absolutely baked. I almost took a pic of myself and posted it, but I kid you not, my eyelids swelled and I looked like an idiot. But I did have a great time. Barrett, the club did a great job. Everyone I talked to was very impressed. Hope the Grand National is in our future.

 

I was there this weekend. Unfortunately, I missed seeing this thread so I probably met some of you other TMS members and didn't realize it! Had a great time. Got home at 3:315 this morning! 2.5 hours of sleep, drive 50 minutes to work, and working zombie today. But had a great time, despite the wind, sunburn and windburn! I brought my Blue '78. It was the one parked at the entrance to the ball diamonds on the back row. Any of you guys / gals going to Louisville Memorial Day Weekend or to Springfield in July??

 

The show was great. I was originally parked over by Slim and ended up over with the Dallas Mustang crew. Yes I got fried as well, but would do it all over again. I need info on the Shelby show in Tulsa. I went last year and it's a great show as well. Any news on whether or not "the Man" is going to make it this year. I went to that show a few times when I was going to school in Tulsa as well. Barrett and David it was great meeting you guys and your cars are amazing. Wish we could have gotten a picture but I cut out early as my gang was getting little antsy.

 

Hopefully I will get to meet more TMS members at the other shows this year. Anyone going to the one in Louisville, KY Memorial Day Weekend or the one in Springfield, Illinois in July? Both will be outstanding shows and I know you won't be disappointed. The Springfield show is held on the grounds of the host hotel. There is a restaurant on site as well as plenty of other great restaurants within walking distance. And the hotel rocks! Best night's sleep I've had - I wanted to take the mattress and bedding home with me.

I wish that we could do some type of special TMS badge to wear to the shows to readily identify each other. With so many great cars and nice people, it is hard to get to everyone!
