I've never named a car before. Seems kinda silly to me, but then I've never felt a "connection" to a car since I got rid of my last Mustang (sniff) 20 years ago. Oddly, I already feel a connection to my '05 that hasn't even been built yet! When I thought about it, the only name that made sense was "Rhonda", a girlfriend also from 20 years ago, who was nuts about Mustangs. I mentioned it to my wife (duh!) and I got one of "those looks". If I just think of her (the car) as Rhonda in my head, one day I'll probably slip and actually say it, so I guess it'll probably just be My Mustang (as opposed to Her Honda).

Jessica
Just came up with it as I was falling asleep.
I've always liked the name and it just seems to fit.
Best of all, I've never dated anyone by that name so it's not like I'm naming her after one of my ex's.

The '66 is Bubba, named in HS because that was the sound he made at idle (bubbabubbabubbabubba)

The '05 is Slick because that's what people kept saying when they first saw it (Wow, that thing is SLICK!)

The dog, however, is Mustang Sally. Better a cliche name go on the dog than the car I think!

I don't know if it's a name, but until I saw the new Mustang I was going to get a Mazda 6 and since they are "Zoom-Zoom," I figure the Mustang is "Zoom-BOOM!" lol

Kinda a repeat from another post cause I couldn't find this thread. My salesman called me on a snowy Valentines Day that my Redfire V6 is here. So I named her "Snowfire". She lived up to her name when we had 3 different days of 6" snow & I drove her to work with no problems. She loves the snow. Just seeing her dirty was the only problem.

Well, I was readint this thread and have a black GT on order. Originally wanted Black Betty, but that is in use by a couple people already.

So, like two seconds ago, I came up with Black Onyx, which is a black gem. Onyx for short!
