My Very First Accident

holy post formatting issues batman.....
nice color...
I'm fortunate to not have had an accident lately.... I've had two my entire life, in 35 years and you never forget any of them.
A little bondo, some JB Weld and Duct tape and she'll be good as new.

Sorry about your damage to your Mustang, but that's exactly why I do not drive mine in the winter months. It's too painful and many times, things are out of anyone's control.
Did you have snow tires on it? Probably wouldn't have helped anyway.

Good luck with your repair...sorry to hear about the collision. Just a little observation...Fastrack's license plate brackets only work on the GT bumper cover. I almost replaced mine with a GT/CS bumper but since mine is a daily driver in a state with a front plate requirement, I chose function over form.
Let us know how it turns out.
I hate ice on the road too!

oooh yeah hey- good lookin' out- cuz i didn't even think about that.... hmm i'll keep that in mind- thanks!
oh- and no snow tires and its really tough when its all you can drive- my other pos car is a corsica... but it wouldn't start- so instead of being late for work - i just took the stang... i had driven it before in the snow and did fine- its just the ice you can't see that kills you.....

Ellsworth...brrr.
Sorry to hear about your car. At least it will be fixed and all nice when you finally thaw out up there.
My brother was stationed up there for two years...I never have had the "pleasure" of being stationed in the land of penguins. Did go there once but that was in the late summer.
Look forward to seeing pictures of your car when it is fixed!

Glad you are ok and sorry to see the damage. Good record though, I wish I could say the same, I smashed a Grand National 2 times in 1 month for a total of 4 accidents in 1 year on that car.

Thanks, 2005GTDeluxe. This accident was a few years ago and no one was hurt - no other cars involved (the guy in the background just stopped to help).
Dont mean to hijack your thread 07MustangSB; just wanted to empathize.

Sorry to hear about your accident. I had one back in college under very similar circumstances. Didn't hurt the bumper of my Dodge Dart at all, but somehow it did $600 in damage to the '72 VW Bus I hit. Oh well.
I've got one of Fasttrak's plate brackets, and a GT/CS front bumper now. I haven't tried mounting it up yet, but I'll give it a shot this weekend and see if it's even close to working. I have no desire to mount a plate directly to my bumper, and would rather pay the ticket than put holes in my car.
