I know you shouldn`t touch the bulb with bare hands !
This isn't really an issue with brake lights, but is with head lights. Brake lights don't operate at continuous intervals and aren't nearly as bright (and thus hot) as headlights.
OP likely there's a wiring issue in your system. Do you have a plug and play type kit or was there wiring involved?

its from american muscle.com, stack racing.
its the plug and play type, the splice-in was cheaper but needs welding wires i cant deal with that

You say it keeps going out? Going out as in not working or keeps burning out after you replace the bulb?
If you haven't you replaced the bulb, then that could be the problem.
You may already know this, but just in case, there are two filaments in the bulb. One for brakes and flashing, and one for parking lights. The reason it could skip is because the brake and flashing filament is burnt out. Parking lights will still work.
So, if you haven't replaced the bulb, that may be all you need to do!
If you have replaced the bulb, then it's most likely a wiring issue. If thats the case, swap the middle bulb with an end bulb. If the middle bulb is still out and the end is working, that will tell you something isn't connected and it's not burning out the bulb, it's just not getting power.

denlem, i think looking at the video id say u are bang on correct, parking lights work, signal doesnt..i changed the bulb once again, and it works..for now.
the interesting thing is u never know which one will burn out next..and yes i wore my leather gloves not to put imprints on them
my friend paid for the replacement kit they sent and we put those in her 05 V6 so we each have them..during the process i took out her bulbs and tried it on my right side harness(?) and it worked, meaning its all in the freakin bulb!

Bulbs are not all created equal. Some will last forever, some won't. I had a turn signal go out in the Mustang in about a year. I've had my Trailblazer for 5 years and have replaced one side twice and never the other side. It just happens and I wouldn't worry about it unless it's happening to the same socket frequently!
And like Karman said, you don't have to worry about touching the bulbs. My local auto parts store just has then piled in a bin so there is no protection there. It's the halogen headlight bulbs you don't want to touch.
