OK It finally stopped raining here and Ive finally had time to polish the car, put the pony badges on the fenders and take some pics. Please let me know what you think of the badges!!??
Also,I just want to say that for all the people who are thinking about the V6 but are not sure because of power.....STOP worrying....This thing flys!! It has Plenty of get-up and go!! Im so happy with this car. It handles very well and has no problem getting up to 160k and then some Im not gonna do a whole "review" here but I do want to say...WOW, I love this car!!!....

Flight96,
Love the badges!!! GREAT MOD.

Where did you get them?

I have a redfire GT car on order. Expecting delivery in a couple weeks. I like the pony emblems much better then the gt's

I heard that the GT badges have alignment tabs, do the pony emblems align up or did you have to cut the tabs off? what year /size did you order?

Looks nice. Seems like the badges are a little low though?

Looks a little low as mcomb stated. Only my, first impressions, though. Maybe a couple of inches up would look better. Kinda like it over the GT badging.

Beautiful color and I do like the badges. I might have mounted them about 6-8" higher on the fender but hey, that's just me.

Congratulations and enjoy your beautiful car!

How did the install on the side emblems go? Did you drill? Any tips or helpful comments. How was it getting the fasteners on the other side? ...Thanks

He's mounted that badge a little lower because that's where the badge sits on that '67 in the garage. Looks great!

I thought that might have been his reasoning too, seeing that he's into restoration. So I checked out the 1967 timeline photos. Learning a lot on this site. In that perspective it does look great

Great Mod. I never paid attention to the fact that the V6 did not have the pony badges on the side (my 01 did). That is definitely a mod I will make. Placement will be the delimma though.
