Have you even seen the '05 Mustang in person?

If you could not tell that I am a fan (of sorts) of the Mustang from my drawings and postings, then take a break, stop being paroind and pause the program to attack anyone with a differing opinion.
ummm, just curious, if you don't like the new Mustang at all, then why are you coming on this site? I don't like the new GTO's look at all, so I have no reason to go to a site dedicated to it and frustrate the owners and want to be owners.

I just said there are certain things I like and don't like.
Never mind.

Kach, I have been watching this thread... You came off first being a Porsche snob, with your comments of "I hope you do buy one, and then we will meet up in the twisties". You know as well as I do, and SVT does that you feel you are far superior to those of us in here.
I think SVT did a very good job calling you out. Id like to know who exactly you think you are walking in here, making your snide little comments and then telling someone to not get an attitude with you. You would get a lot less "attitude" if you dropped yours at the door, CHUM.
No one is putting you down for being different, however you are being quite demeaning with your comments, and its not apprciated.

Lets see I said:
Good, hope you buy one....................I'll see you on a twisty road one day and wave from my 28 year old old Porsche, which will probably still handle better.
If that makes me a snob, then so be it.
JessicaRabbitt, you are a sad angry person.....seek help.
I'm going to have to agree with JessicaRabbit on this one, kach. Your comments (though you may not intend them to be) come off as the snide remarks of someone who's view of the world is obstructed by two protruding nostrils. I am simply suggesting that you may want to think about the way you say things so they aren't miscontrued as such.
While you may have a fun piece of machinery that was excellent in it's day, I prefer the power and the creature comforts of the Mustang.
PS. If you're gonna be an ****, own up to it. Don't hide it by re-wording it after the fact. It comes off as witty when you re-word it ahead of time.
PPS. Jessica is not sad or angry now that she has her Mustang. Perhaps you might want to see someone about that inferiority complex though...

holderca1, I think he meant he likes some aspects of the new mustang, but he doesn't like all of them.

I think you haters are all stuck in neutral. When I read his DBL-banana post
I thought he was starting something.....but his next few posts AGREED with
the negative comments about the '77 Porsche. Then the quoted post says
he doesn't like it all (meaning ALL OF IT).....NOT> Dont' like it AT ALL.
He then mentions he's a fan (of sorts) of the Mustang. I guess he's not the
same kind of fan most of us are here but so what?
Finally, I believe he would rather see the front end squared off at the top
left/right corners where the headlights are housed. That would take away
the squinty look.
Nevertheless, Kach22i - you should drive it first (i have not) and see how
that rearend works for ya. The media just loves to say/write "30 year old
technology" and then when they really check the specs they see this is not
your fathers' live axle. It ain't the same as the previous Stang's and in fact
nothing much if anything is the same.

Nothing more to say here, this is not worth it.

It seems that many here are so insecure concerning this car that they can't accept any criticism of it, even if it's done in a friendly or humorus fashion...There is nothing quite like a mustang, it's an american Icon, but it does have it's weak points, too bad we can't have an open discussion and are reduced to being cheerleaders for ford. :worship:

I wonder what you guys would say to me if I said,"Good, go buy one and I'll see you in the twisties w/ my 40-yr old car." Look, yes, he did come off as being a bit snobbish, but all that you guys did was berate him and his car. No one ever bothered to say "Hi!!" or anything nice to see if maybe he just might be a little misunderstood. All I'm saying is, give a guy a chance and if he's a troll, then flame his butt!! B)

Hmmmm, when apologizes for his outbursts I got no problem apologizing for being a bit harsh with him. I hardly think what I said deserved the kind of retaliation I received.
I got no problem with people coming in with different opinions. Several have. He came off TO ME AT LEAST as one of those guys who thinks their opinion is gospel, and anyone who disagrees is an idiot.
Flat out, I dont like his rendition of the 05. I dont doubt that he will find people who do. More power to him.
Calling me a sad angry person who needs to seek help was over the top, and ya know, maybe a bit of projection on his part.
My $.02, come get your change.

The nose is perfect, it's the butt I think is a little long. I know they did it for trunk space but chopping a foot off of the car's tail would do wonders for its styling. Not that the styling needs work, mind you... it's gorgeous as-is!

good one!
No point in talking about how we would change the car unless you have an engineering degree and a time machine.
This car is meant to be a mustang--not a jaguar or anything else. I honestly haven't seen a photochop with changes to the body that I liked better than what is one the road anyway. But everyone has their own opinions I guess...
