My Pony is hurt AGAIN... Opinions please?

Saturday night I pull in to a gas station and park in front of a pump. A F250 in front of me had pulled in right before I did, and apparently the driver decided he wanted MY gas pump and proceeded to reverse right into the front of my car!

Damage isn't too bad, but he ripped a piece and his trailer hitch punched a hole in my front bumper cover. Headlights, grille, hood and chin spoiler appear to be OK. I'll upload pix when I get home.

That's twice this year I have been hit.

Bottom line is I think I'll need a new bumper cover and maybe the supports behind it.

HERE'S MY QUESTION:

Go back with stock bumper cover with CDC chin spoiler, or get the GT/CS bumper cover?

If you have to replace it, you might as well go with something a little different than before.

That would be correct! Of course, I'd have to front the $$ for any upgrades, but that's how the ball bounces...

definitely, gt/cs BUMBER!

how come you didn't honk or reverse when you saw his reverse lights go on?

Engine was off. I did honk. That's probably why I still have a hood, radiator, core support, headlights, etc...

Unfortunately too late to save my bumper cover...

Shouldn't be too much price difference between the GT and The GT/CS but it's worth it!!

Get the GT/CS. I've seen too many chin spoilers get scuffed and broken.

Time to upgrade especially if he is paying the bill.

I say stock with the CDC Chin Spoiler. I've never been a big fan of the GT/CS front bumper (I know, blasphemy lol). Something about it looks a little too "aftermarket" to me.

That is a real bummer. I had that happen to me once in my other car but the guy backed up AFTER he had pumped his gas. I'd been there for about 2 minutes and I swear he had to have seen me because he was still pumping gas when I got there. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him start backing up!! This world is full of all kinds of idiots!!

Good luck with the repairs.

Get the GT/CS bumper cover. The GT/CS bumper cover is available as a Ford accessory part, so it will probably be cheaper than a new GT bumper cover and certainly cheaper than the cost of a GT bumper cover and a CDC chin spoiler.
