My Pony Is Gone
#1
This past Saturday, 11/19, I was involved in a serious accident. My daughter and my granddaughter were in the pony with me. We were traveling in the left hand lane on I-30 in Arkansas when a SUV traveling in the right hand lane attempted to change lanes. He clipped the right front quarter panel of the car. This caused me to lose control and went head on into a tree at about 70 to 75 mph. We were stuck about 5 foot off of the ground in the tree. Because of the quality engineering, the frame of the car crumpled and absorbed a lot of the blow, also there was no intrusion into the passanger compartment. My daughter and granddaughter are doing well with a few bumps and bruises. I am doing well with bumps, brusies, fractured right foot and fractured L1. Thanks to the good Lord, angels and the advanced engineering in the Ford Mustang, we are alive and will heal. Please keep the family of the other vehicle in your prayers. A family of 6 were in it and two of the childen, ages 7 and 11, were air lifted to Arkansas Children's Hospital. These two children were thrown from the SUV when the driver jerked the steering wheel and the SUV flipped sereval times. One of them went head first into a tree. He has closed head injuries, but has now come out of the coma.
The car was a 2005 GT, screaming yellow, standard transmission, with IUP. Her name was "Betty". RIP Betty!

Also glad everybody (known) is doing ok. Like everybody has said, cars can be replaced but people can't. Hard to believe sombody didn't see the screaming yellow or maybe they were on a cell phone... Again, glad it was a happy ending for your side at least.
