My Mustang GT
Hey Guys,
Let me know what you think about my car. Is there anything you would do to it? I am thinking about maybe putting some 20s on it or maybe some deep dish 18s but I kinda like the look of the fanblades, what do you think?

Very Nice!
Q: What front chin spoiler is that?
1.) Lower the car with some springs, shocks, struts, sways...
2.) Use a G2 kit to paint your calipers Blue.
Outside of that I think it's smokin'!

Well, you asked so.........
1) Clear corner front bumper lights and rear side lenses. Here is how they look on white. http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...ics/?start=all
2) Midwest auto mirror covers. See my pictures again^^. The covers look pretty sweet if you ask me.
3) A shorty antenna...
As for wheels, I think 20's would look good. I really do like 20's, but they just aren't for me. I drive my car everywhere, and having to slow down at all of the bumpers and RR tracks would drive me nuts.
I have other things I could suggest, but they are just nitpicking suggestions. For instance, i'm not crazy about the stock grill, because I hate the pony. Yes I said it, go ahead and ban me lol. I'm not crazy about those louvers at all, in my opinion Silverhorse racing makes the best louvers, because they actually replace the window, instead of being taped to the car. I also would have done pinstripes with the stripes.
Ok, I guess i'vre hated on your car enough lol. Don't feel bad, the list of things I want to change on my own car is wayyyy bigger than the list I made for you.

Thanks for the input
I think I will keep the fanblades, the look good on white to me. I am going to go with the clear lenses in the front and rear but where is the cheapest place to order them? Will getting the painted mirror covers make that much difference? They have them on ebay for 161.00. I'm not sure what body kit is on the car, it came on the car. Also, What is the best way to lower my car? I had an 03 GT and put Eibach springs only on it and it didn't have a good ride. Thanks Guys

Lowering your car can be done in steps, but if you're going to have a shop do it, be prepared to simply "have it done".
I did Steeda Springs on my car and I love them. They are a bit aggressive, but that's my style. I did the Eibach Pro-Kit on the wife's vert and she is more than happy with the ride and turning. I know Steeda has Ultralites and Sports, but I put on Competitions and it is harsh at first, but two months later I could firm it up a bit.
That's when shocks come into play. You can buy Tokicos which are adjustable. You can buy performance "tuned" non-adjustable FRPP, Steeda, or Eibachs. Or you can go nuts and buy coil overs.
After that you need to look at pinion angle on the drive shaft, so you need either an Adjustable Upper Control Arm (UCA) or Adjustable Lower Control Arms (LCAs). Then the axle tends to move to the driver's side as the car is lowered due to the Panhard setup in the rear. So if you want to keep the axle on center you'll need an adjustable PHR.
Some people put in control arm relocation brackets to preserve the geometry of the lower control arms. I haven't yet, but if convinced will make the swap.
If you have the tools and know how to lower your car yourself, do it in phases and pick and chose your options. That's what I'm doing.
If you want to just "have it done" then the FRPP kit is pretty good.
I haven't added the sway bar upgrades yet, but I plan to do that this fall. I've seen some of the impressive numbers on the skidpad by the Steeda Q cars and after experiencing the Competition springs, I think I'll stay Steeda.

Stang looks great! I've also contemplated changing my fanblades out for some aftermarket ones, but I think I'm gonna keep em stock...I just like them too much. So, IMO, keep the fans!
