It was a '95 with exhaust, intake, a chip I think, and a 3.73 rear end. I didn't get a good start, so he got a jump on me. I got out ahead, and it was pretty even up to 60 or 70, at which point I started pulling away pretty strongly. Should I be concerned that a '95 ran me so tight for awhile?

If you race for a living, perhaps. If not just enjoy your car...

Well with a chip and gears and you had a bad start, I think that's nothing to worry about. (if his car was stock, another story)

Shows what these cars have at the top end - they just steadily pull at 80 mph and above....

Car and Driver pulled a 13.8 in a vert. They were amazed that the vert was so firm and didn't have the flex and windshield shake.

I don't know if the weight is a big factor. Do you think there would be much of a dif in a vert?

Also, it was an Automatic. It seems all the car mags are getting their best time with Auto's.
