I thought I had read somewhere where '07 may be the last year for them. Is this fact or fiction?

I am unaware of the Mycolor Going Away. No Catalog Changes to Indicate This at this time.

What I'd like to see is MyColor getting BETTER!

I'd like it to do more than purples, greens, or blues. (the only "non-muddy" colors REALLY available.)

What they should do is that mycolor worked with all the backlit buttons in the car, now that would be really cool.

It came with a package... I like it, but I'd never pay extra for it . I played with the colors once, set it to blue, and never changed it again. I guess it makes a good conversation topic

Mine as well..... it's actually a mix of colors to give me a whitish blue. I tried RED with my red car, but that got tiresome to look at and gave me a headache

I use the red (Torch Red) but I dim the lights a tad. Give that a try.

If I remember the patent was vague and didn't list specifics. (Don't have a link to it) I know the guy was asked about it during an interview about the patent being general and not really specific to the mycolor option and he simply said no comment.

I also agree that changing all the lights would be cool. Since I plan on trading in for an 08 GT lets hope they do it. Oh and include the radio too.

Sounds like the Ambient lighting package takes mycolor a step further.
Must find more on it...

"the most dramatic is the all new ambient lighting package that adds some real drama to the focus' interior. Customers can choose among 7 different colours to bring to life all too forgotten places like cupholders and footwells..."

I wouldn't assume that the Mustang package will necessarily be the same as what's going in the Focus. After all, the '08 Mustang won't be getting 'Sync', either.

I hope it is, though. Nothing would be hornier than illuminated cup holders in my '08 Bullitt. It's gotta be a beatch trying to slot your can of Old Milwaukee back into the holder at night.

If My Color is going away in 08 I am sure glad I am getting an 07. Personally I really don't like the looks of that Focus, it just reminds me of those stupid Scion's with their neon rice light features. It could be done tastefully but IMHO thats not it.

Yet again at what point did you hear it WON'T be in the stang.
In the presentation it mentioned
'we will be rolling out sync quickly, and affordibly...it will be available in 12 new vehicles, including the new focus.
Check around the 24 minute mark in the video presentation.

What I also like is the iPod/Zune integration, as well as FLASH DRIVE and USB stick.
