My Color...
#21
I've had the car since November. First week I must have changed the colour a few times a day. Since then I have never changed it. I left it at the default blue to match the car.

well I guess even those of you who never change it again are at least happy with the choice in color you settled with. So I don't think to be satisfied with the feature you need to be changing it all the time. If you find a color you're happy with and leave it there forever, isn't that worth it?

I like the exterior of the IUP...what I like the the rest is having all the guages....and I like the color options because I can't stand the crappy green night light on the non-IUP dashes. I seldom change the color however. I like the informatiob center better than just the odometer and trip odometer.

I set it to Blue and didn't give it a second thought.
Then my sister bought an '05 Stang without IUP. It really looked weird to have the gauges set to green and not be able to change it. Not to mention no
message center .. something I use all the time. I thought to myself .. this kinda Su**s .. that's when I realized how glad I am to have it!

I have it and love it. I get the most use out of it when my wife is in the car. I "have" to match her outfit. But my personal favorite is the red. When I custom make a color, I like a purplish blue the best.

I have it and think it is a very cool feature. I don't change it much, and usually leave it set to red. When I do change it, I set it to blue or orange. It adds a touch of personalization, and also allows for an alternative to the standard green that IMO is a bit generic.

Love it, think it is so awesome to have it. Set to purple back in November and have not changed it. Looking forward to springtime, so I can see it and change again. Just six or seven more weeks now. I have seen some without it.

I actually ordered it more for the information center than for the colors, although the color options are really cool! Just can't wait to start playing with it myself (someday).

Granted it is a thing most will only use once in a while if at all. Unless......just think about picking up your date, or your wife, and before leaving changing the color to match what she's wearing. Bonus points!
For myself, I like being able to change it. Granted it's still new but I can see me getting use out of it.

What kinds of things are in the information center?
What kinds of things are in the information center?
Odometer & Trip Odometer, of course
Your average speed
Your Miles per gallon
How many miles to go before you're empty.
A timer for trips (stop watch)
A systems check that tells you, besides what's already been listed;
Oil Pressure
Engine Coolent Temp.
Charging System status
Driver and Passenger door closed or ajar
Trunk open or locked
Fuel Level
Fuel cap on or off/ open or closed
How much fuel you've used in gallons
The Display Color
And the Sound System; you can adjust it for the best sound for;
All Seats
Back Seat
Drivers seat; Cool to experiment with.

I dont have mycolor! I wish I did, I especially miss a information center that displays more than miles driven and one trip ode.

It's cool I suppose, wouldn't have paid extra for it if it were offered as a stand alone option.
I had it on the default blue to match my car but have since found a lighter blue thats easier on the eyes. I fiddled with it until I figgured how to work it, haven't messed with it much since though.

Well, I figured that would happen. Set it and forget it.
My desire for the IUP is the interior trim. Ford could have avoided all the IUP delays (if it was MyColor caused) by just offering the IUP trim with a standard cluster.
