My car is in! can't get till tomorrow..
Undercoating??? I know a lot of people don't advise it. I have worked on vehicles for quite a number of years. And where I am, in snow belt, even though I don't plan on driving it in the snow, I still think something should be applied under the car. Even water can cause rust in the seams, around the spotwelds ect. IMO. I have been wondering what other people are doing that are using undercoating and or rustproofing. Also I may do it myself. I have access to lifts, ect. IF I decide to do the doors and other panels I would remove the panesl instead of drilling holes. I have had a lot of suggestions from people, even truck bedliner spray for under the car? Any & all suggestions will be appreciated. tia Pics to follow in a day or two....
When did they call you?
My rail car unloaded the car here this morning at 1040.
No call. Transport to the dealer is 15 min away.
Maybe they will call me tomorrow.
Let me know about tomorrow!!

I agree undercoating is not necessary nowadays. They cars are not like the ones of pre 1990ish. Don't go through the expense unless you are traveling alot in snow and salt then I might would consider it.

My 1995 GT is a daily driver with 105K miles on her, and I guess you'd say I'm in the "snow belt" in CT. No undercoating on the car, and not a speck of rust anywhere. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you're planning on keeping the car for 20 years or something like that.
